Few days ago, Darel and I attended a wedding of a good friend of mine. It was actually the first wedding we attended as a married couple. Medyo sunod-sunod kasi kami kinasal ng highschool girl friends ko eh. Haha. Last January 2018, it was Clang. Then May 2018, ako. Ngayon naman si Grace. So medyo sunod-sunod rin yung bridal shower na naganap. Haha! Again, congratulations to you Grace and John! Welcome to the married life! Also, I so love the details of your wedding gown! ♥
The wedding venue was in Palazzo Verde in Las Piñas. It was my first time to see the place nung Friday and it made me think, “Wait! Diba dito kinasal si Carmina and Zoren?” Yun yung reference ko kasi sobrang naiyak din ako nung pinanood ko yung surpise wedding nila last 2012. Haha. Tapos the other day I watched 4 Sisters and a Wedding again, and I saw na yun din pala yung venue. Hahaha. Oh well. Anyway, it was a good time to catch up with my other girl friends while celebrating with the new married couple.
By the way, the travel time from North to South wasn’t that bad, considering na it was a Friday. We left QC around 12nn and we got there at almost 2pm, right on time for the ceremony. Wait. 2 hours rin pala yun noh? Haha! Pero kasi wala namang traffic tapos nag skyway kami. And even nung pauwi na, we got home before 12mn! That’s kinda new. Haha.
I have one highlight from the wedding, aside from of course, how beautifully Grace walked down the aisle. ♥ And that was when I almost won 4,000php nung pa-game during reception! Hahaha. We all know the rock-paper-scissor game during wedding receptions, right? Sayang!! Nung single pa kami at may ganito sa weddings, never ako umabot sa stage na lahat na ng representatives per table eh. Hahaha. Must be because I’m married now? Hahaha! Btw, the place was really nice and ang daming good spots for photo-ops.
All throughout the whole ceremony, and even until nung reception, Darel and I can’t help but to reminisce our own wedding and the preps itself. Very timely because we’ll be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary next month! Wohoo! Pero hanggang ngayon di pa rin namin naayos yung photos. Hahaha. Thinking about it, it made us see weddings with a totally new perspective now kasi we’ve been there. Alam na namin yung effort and pagod sa pag-prepare ng lahat. Hindi biro mag-pakasal. Magastos. Ma-trabaho. Stressful at times. Hmmm… which reminds me, I really need to sort out all our wedding photos na and hopefully post everything before our anniversary. Hahaha.
